The civils firm rebranded after being sold by Keltbray is delivering the 1.2km road which will link the A614 to Station Road over the two-year build programme.

Backed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and developer JG Hatcliffe Associates, the road will pave the way for nearly 2,000 new homes, a new school, a pub and a Howdens Joinery factory as part of the wider HOW-G mixed-use expansion.

Planned 460,000 Howden kitchen unit factory, designed by UMC Architects

Initial works will start at the Thorpe Road end, with Aureos also delivering a new pump station and drainage improvements.

Funding is coming from a mix of developer contributions and council support via Invest East Yorkshire, including £2m from a Devolution grant and £1m from a Local Transport Grant.
