Following our recent appointment to Affinity Water’s AMP8 framework our Southern Region is growing. We are hiring for a MEICA Project Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of projects across the Southeast of England.
The Role
Based in our St Albans office, the MEICA Project Manager will make the most of their proven technical and leadership skills. They will manage and report against operational and financial targets and closely manage programme and supply chain, including procurement and performance. As an experienced team player, they will be a leader across all aspects of work, from collaborating with other Barhale teams and communicating with clients to coordinating designs and resolving risks. It will also be vital that the MEICA Project Manager builds and sustains capacity and capability within the project team, making sure that the programme workstream is delivered effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and executing all project-related activities.
- Overseeing operations daily to ensure work is done safely, on time and within the project's allocated budget.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, supply chain and subcontractors.
- Developing cost forecasts throughout the project and bringing schemes in within budget.
- Meeting and exceeding Barhale MEICA and client expectations at every step.
- Ensuring client specifications and requirements are met by reviewing progress and liaising with the Barhale MEICA and project team.
- Contributing to the delivery of all work packages planned and scheduled by the project delivery team in line with programme constraints, quality standards and budgets.
- Reporting site progress and activities to line management and at monthly meetings.
- Chairing project-related and project-specific regular safety, production, and quality meetings.
- Managing all related health and safety standards, reporting and escalation.
- Contributing to future tender activities and work winning input.
