The award of the three main tunnel drives for the Thames super sewer worth £1.8bn in August has shaken up the rankings and established a new order of firms.
Laing O’Rourke in joint venture with Ferrovial Agroman bagged the biggest Central section job at £746m.
The joint venture between Balfour Beatty, BAM, and Morgan Sindall bagged a three-way share of the £416m Western section, while Costain took a 40% share of the Eastern drive at £605m, with Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Bachy Soletanche as it partners.
Laing O’Rourke also secured a £50m office project at North Wharf Road, Paddington for Derwent London.
