The 170m tall One Blackfriars tower will accommodate 273 new homes across 50 floors with 14,000 sq ft of retail space and a boutique-style hotel.
It is Briggs & Forrester’s second major scheme for Berkeley Group in recent years. Main contractor Brookfield Multiplex has already started the project where the concrete frame has reached the seventh floor.
Briggs & Forrester MEP managing director, Duncan Benedetti, said “We are delighted to continue our successful working partnership with St George, established through the delivery of the recently completed The Tower, One St George Wharf in Vauxhall.
“We now look forward to providing services for One Blackfriars, a new landmark building on London’s skyline.”
Briggs & Forrester will provide full building services installation for One Blackfriars, including air conditioning, water services, drainage, small power, lighting, audio visual, underfloor heating, access control and ventilation to the new homes contained within the tower.
