Wales Living Space (Maintenance) will be the primary contractor for major work on council voids, with Vinci Construction also brought on board as reserve contractor.
The City Council’s stock of around 12,000 homes is extremely diverse including tower blocks, large system-built estates, street properties, houses and a number of small estates.
The average number of major works voids per annum over the last three years is around 360 upgrade job.
