The new regionalised estimating framework is worth around £30m a year.

It will cover cost planing across a wide range of works disciplines including power and distribution, buildings and civils, and overhead line electrification for both Southern and Great Western and Crossrail plus Wales regions.

Network Rail will work on a yearly renewal basis with its partners  with options to extend by a year up to 2021.
