Demolition specialist John F Hunt has appointed former Balfour Beatty Regional Build Director Darren Potter as Operations Director.

Potter will work alongside John F Hunt’s current board members and brings nearly 40 years’ experience within the construction industry having held leadership positions at John Laing, Laing O’Rourke, Countryside Properties, Careys and more recently Balfour Beatty.

John F Hunt said: “His aptitude for negotiation, execution and hand over of high-profile projects will be an asset to the business.

“His appointment will add to the significant experience within the business and complement the existing skill set, bringing with him detailed knowledge of sectors including aviation, MoD, HS2 infrastructure, rail, nuclear and health. “We have a strong order book and look forward to seeing them apply their knowledge and expertise to our London and Southeast based portfolio. Exciting times!”
