The port owner hopes a framework approach will improve collaboration and early engagement with supply chain partners realising benefits from the optimisation of design and construction best practices.
There are two places for contractors to deliver major works across its ports in England and Dublin, estimated to account for a £300m spend over eight years.
Smaller works for each port have been split into two lots covering general construction and specialist marine works.
Firms will only be allowed to tender for two lots with winning firms restricted to one place.
