The National Groundworkers Framework will cover everything from site clearance, earthworks and foundations to drainage, utilities, roads and external works for both Places for People and its development arm, PfP Developments.
M&J Evans Construction, Carmac (Building & Civil Engineering), Churngold Construction and John Reilly Civil Engineering will be among the 25 firms seeking to renew their spot of the framework refresh.
The framework is split into 13 regional lots and runs from 22 September 2026 to 20 September 2030. An unlimited number of firms can be appointed, with work packages let either through mini-competitions or direct awards.
London represents the largest single opportunity, with an estimated value of £45m, followed by the South West South region covering Berkshire, Hampshire and Dorset at £36m and the East Anglia and Northern Home Counties lot at £35m.

Bids will be assessed on a 70:30 quality-price split. Enquiries close on 15 July and tenders must be submitted by 20 July, with contract awards expected by 14 August.
