Cardo Group has continued its acquisition spree with the purchase of Andover-based compliance and energy contractor Correct Contract Services.

The deal strengthens Cardo’s electrical, heating and retrofit capabilities and expands its reach across southern and central England.

Correct Contract Services employs more than 280 staff and provides compliance and energy services to more than 50,000 properties for local authorities and social housing landlords.

The £30m turnover business was founded in 2007 by former gas engineers Danny Gladwyn and the late Trevor Dempsey, who died earlier this month.

Starting out in boiler installation and servicing, CCS has expanded into electrical maintenance, heating services and large-scale energy retrofit work.

Recent Cardo acquisitions include:

  • Wieleba – (May 26) electrical and security systems installer.
  • EFS Systems (UK) – (May 26 ) electrical and solar installation and maintenance.
  • Trident Maintenance Services – (Feb 26 ) property maintenance.
  • Gunfire – (Dec ’25) passive fire protection business.
  • CTS Projects – (Sept 25) property maintenance contractor.
  • SERS Energy Solutions – (early 25) energy efficiency and retrofit contractor.
  • Breyer Group roofing arm – (Mar 25) specialist roofing operation.
  • A&N Lewis – (early 24) building refurb and decorating contractor.
  • Jefferies Contractors – (Sept 23) building maintenance specialist.
  • Osborne Property Services – (Sept 23) regional social housing maintenance.
