Organisers of UK Construction Week are putting together a great programme of after-show entertainment and networking events.

The Enquirer is co-hosting a Casino Night on Tuesday October 6 while a Beer Festival will take place from the Tuesday to Thursday.

The Casino Night will take place at the Genting International Casino at Resorts World Birmingham.

Galliford Try is finishing-up work on the £150m complex which will open just weeks before the show.

UK Construction Week visitors and exhibitors will benefit from a whole host of freebies during a great night of fun as they chance their arm at the tables.

All visitors will get a free glass of champagne and “Learn to Play” classes for gambling novices.

A charity poker tournament will also be a great chance for colleagues and clients to do battle at the card table.

Genting will supply all dealers and is also putting up a £500 prize for the overall chip winner.

Entry to the Beer Festival is also free and will offer everyone the chance to taste the region’s best brews while being entertained by live music.

Enquirer editor Aaron Morby said: “People are often at a loose end during the evening at shows so this is a great way of networking and having a bit of fun.

“The Genting Casino is set to become a local landmark so it’s fitting that UK Construction Week will host this so soon after building work has finished.”
