Betting Spy: Happy days in North London

This pains me to write – but Spurs are looking a decent side this season.

Now West Ham were pretty abject last week at White Hart Lane.

But Tottenham are on a strong run and looked a level above a Hammers side who have already pulled-off some great results this season.

We played into the home side’s hands a bit by sacrificing an extra midfielder to play Andy Carroll who just doesn’t look mobile enough for the post Sam Allardyce West Ham.

Big Andy is certainly a trier but you know what you get from him – and it’s not running the channels and pulling defences apart with constant movement.

Carroll is an impact sub for me when Plan A doesn’t work and you need a battering ram for the last twenty minutes.

Spurs on the other hand have settled into a decent rythym this season and Harry Kane is firing again now Christian Eriksen is supplying the bullets.

Tottenham host Chelsea on Sunday but I’ve just got a feeling that may end in a draw.

So it’s to the other half of north London we head for the first leg of our weekend double.

Arsenal must surely be focusing on the Premier League title this season and will be desperate to make up for last week’s surprise defeat at West Brom.

The Gunners should have too much for a Norwich side who have already leaked 24 goals this season.

I also like the look of Everton to do a number on injury-blighted Bournemouth.

The Toffees swept a doomed-looking Aston Villa aside last week and should be too strong for the Cherries.

That double pays 3/1 which looks a decent price to get Betting Spy back to winning ways.
