The third generation family-owned business from County Meath in Ireland has set its sights on winning work in the UK, and has just landed a place on the Procure Plus New Build social housing framework.
The firm, which has a turnover of £7.5m and employs almost 190 people, aims to traget building work across the North West, M6 corridor, London, the South West and Home Counties.
In Ireland, Manley boasts a track record of projects including several large-scale retail, residential, recreational and commercial schemes such as the development of St Anne’s Golf Club in Dublin Bay and a 70,000 sq ft retail-led mixed use scheme in Athlone.
Gabriel Manley, managing director of Manley Construction UK, said: “We have a long and proud heritage in Ireland in which we have established ourselves as a key player on mid to large scale projects.
“This is exactly the area where we see significant potential to develop our UK operations from our new base in Manchester.
“The North West has a world-class construction supply chain which we can tap into and use as a springboard for our growth.”
