Pre-tax profit also edged up to £94.5m from £86.8m for the year to March 31 2012 as total revenue hit £2,002m from £1,891m.
One of Mitie’s biggest wins during the year was a new facilities management deal with Lloyds Banking Group worth £775m over the next five years.
Mitie is now one of the country’s largest private sector employers with 63,569 staff.
