This year has seen another huge surge in online readership as construction continues to turn to the Enquirer for the latest industry updates.

Our newsletter is now sent to 30,000 subscribers every morning before 9am.

And latest Google Analytics figures show the Enquirer enjoyed more than one million page views in November from more than 173,000 unique visitors.

It has been a busy 12 months for news as the industry started its recovery from a torrid few years.

Here are our top-ten most read stories in 2013:

McLaren and FCC plan £400m Spurs stadium bid – read 24,721 times

It has also been a boom year for the Enquirer in terms of social media shares.

Every story on our site has counters at the top to register how many people are sharing our news

Those counters won’t be seen on many of our rivals who don’t want to highlight the lack of social media buzz their stories generate.

One of the biggest hitters this year was our report on KPMG’s latest economic forecasts which was retweeted by 172 people and shared 1,193 times on LinkedIn.

Next year will see a major social media initiative launched by the Enquirer with its new Social Club which will help companies maximise returns from social media investment.

We look forward to growing alongside the industry in 2014 and would like to wish all our readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Our last daily newsletter of the year will be on Friday December 20 with our regular service resuming on Thursday January 2.

The Enquirer website will continue to be updated with major news stories during the Christmas break.

Have a good one…….
