The deal creates a £45m turnover group with more than 45 staff and gives the business national coverage for the first time.
Brickability previously operated out of four depots, including its Bridgend headquarters, depots in Surrey and Berkshire and one in Staffordshire, delivering to major clients like Bellway and Berkeley as well as Carillion.
The acquisition gives Brickability a firm foothold in the north allowing it to offer national coverage to customers.
Calum Currie, managing director of Bricklink will continue in his current role, while also joining the main board of Brickability.
He said: “The amalgamation of Bricklink into the Brickability group of companies makes the larger group market leaders in terms of facing brick distribution in the UK.
“The new group will also benefit from complete national coverage.“
