The contracting arm of property developer Brookfield scaled the league on the strength of a single giant office order, a £350m headquarters project for Goldman Sachs, near Farringdon Station in London.
During the month, BAM Nuttall clinched a £170m order to upgrade the railway line between Aberdeen and Inverness, allowing it to claim the title of most successful civil engineering contractor during the month.

Among other major project wins Bouygues gained top marks in the bidding to take a £120m office project in Cambridge for the examination board Cambridge Assessment.
Bowmer & Kirkland secured the Sheffield Chinatown development worth around £100m which includes students flats and Chinese shops for New Era Development.
Lincoln-based builder Simons bagged a £100m job for joint clients Arla Foods and Citygrove (above) to build a mixed retail, cinema and housing development on Arla’s former diary site in Ruislip.
