Skanska is the only firm to land two schemes after being lined up for the James Paget Hospital rebuild in Great Yarmouth and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital job in King’s Lynn.
The Wave 1 hospital jobs include seven RAAC-hit hospitals that were pushed to the front of the £60bn programme after reviews found they could not safely operate beyond 2030.
All seven will be completely rebuilt using the Government’s standardised Hospital 2.0 design approach, with the aim of finishing them by 2030.
The Department of Health and Social Care said formal contracts are expected to be signed this summer ahead of starts in 2027/28.
