According to information specialist Glenigan, Wates is framework contractor for the £650m renovation of a number of buildings on Parliament’s Northern Estate.

The massive pipeline order also saw Wates catapulted into the top four contractors for orders won over the rolling 12-month period.

Kier retains it pole position in the rolling league followed by Balfour Beatty, with Galliford Try in third place as its partnerships business picks up increasingly big orders.
