Employee-owned fit out specialist BW has reshuffled its senior leadership team following Anthony Brown’s promotion to chief executive as it prepares for its next phase of growth.

The move comes weeks after long-serving chief executive Steve Elliott stepped down following 12 years at the helm, handing over to former chief marketing officer Brown at the end of July.

As part of the new structure, Peter Nagle has been promoted to chief operating officer, taking responsibility for project delivery, operational performance and business processes.

Nagle has spent more than 21 years with the business and has been instrumental in building BW’s project delivery operation.

Paul Kavanagh has also been promoted to managing director alongside existing managing director Kevin P’ng.

Kavanagh joined BW in 2010 and has led the delivery of many of the company’s largest workplace fit out projects. In his new role he will focus on business growth, project delivery and client relationships.

BW said the new structure brings together its operational, commercial and people functions to create clearer accountability, strengthen project delivery and support continued expansion.

The appointments follow a planned leadership transition announced in July when Brown succeeded Elliott as chief executive of the 300-strong employee-owned contractor.

Elliott led the business for 12 years, overseeing sustained growth and its transition to employee ownership.
