Residents played a key role in the selection process, with Osborne chosen for its customer satisfaction ratings, health and safety record, and cost efficiency.
The 10 year contract, which starts on 17 May, covers planned and responsive repairs and void refurbishment works to Peabody’s 17,500 properties across the capital.
Osborne will offer flexible appointment times under the deal. Residents will be offered appointments between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturday.
Two-hour appointment windows. Appointments will be offered in two hour slots during weekdays, reducing waiting time.
Rapid appointment confirmation. All appointments will be confirmed when the repair is first reported.
Stephen Howlett, Peabody Chief Executive, said: “Peabody residents have shaped the service they would like to see delivered, and our ability to do so has been given a strong vote of confidence by our regulator, the Tenant Services Authority. “
