The firm identified a shortage of quality space in the capital in its interim results today and confirmed progress on two major schemes.
Derwent will shortly be submitting a planning application for a mixed-use development of 265,000 sq ft at Hampstead Road, Euston with a start date anticipated for mid-2011.
Work is also continuing on a 65,000 sq ft new-build scheme at the old Turnmills nightclub in Clerkenwell which was refused planning permission earlier this year.
Derwent is currently redesigning a slightly smaller scheme and a planning application will be submitted later this year.
