The haul includes an £8.1m contract to expand the University of Manchester’s School of Chemical Engineering with a new five-storey building containing academic and research laboratories.
In the health sector, the contractor has picked up two contracts worth £9.0m to develop the Nuclear Medicine Unit and Assisted Conception Unit at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for NHS Tayside.
Galliford Try has also reached financial close on a £6.1m LIFT project to build a new medical centre, library and sixth form facility for Liverpool & Sefton Health Partnership – its tenth job under the agreement.
The deal will see construction of a purpose built medical centre for Liverpool PCT together with a library for Liverpool City Council and a sixth form facility for Childwall School on the site of a former library at Childwall Fiveways in Liverpool.
