Transport for Scotland is looking for a firm to maintain the 692km of trunk roads in the south west from next year when the current deal with Amey ends.
The transport body is also looking for bidders to repair 1306km of roads in the north west which are currently being maintained by the Balfour Beatty/Mouchel Scotland Transerv joint venture.
Both contracts will be let under the “4G” next generation of highways contracts and firms have until December 7 to register their interest with 4GProcurement@transportscotland.gsi.gov.uk
