The project for Affinity Housing has just been given the green light following a successful planning appeal at Southwark Council.
Designed by Panter Hudspith Architects, the development was one of the original 16 Early Housing sites for the regeneration of the Elephant & Castle area.
Phil Griffith, Regional Development Director for Affinity Sutton, said: “We are delighted with the decision of the Planning Appeal. This development will provide much-needed, well-designed, affordable homes for Southwark residents.”
The plan consists of four main cores, ranging in height from four to nine storeys, which are linked by three and four bedroom duplex homes with front and rear gardens.
Funding for the project was secured from the HCA in September.
