Firms are being invited to bid for a single national housing prime contract to deliver housing maintenance across the estate for between five and 10 years.
The work includes design and construction jobs up to £3.9m , planned maintenance and reactive repairs through to a range of soft facilities management work.
Defence Estates plans to hold an industry day to set out details of the planned next generation of contracts covering maintenance and new build across the regions.
Although invitations to tender have concentrated on main contractor opportunities on the Next generation contracts, subcontractors are being encouraged to get involved in the run up to bidding.
Subcontractors wishing to participate in the industry day should e-mail the Authority at [email protected].
Firms interest in the Housing Prime Contract have until 17 march to submit PQQs. Mike Davis at Defence Estates has further detail. Tel: 01213113660.
Invitations to bid for three regional prime contracts covering hard FM on all other non housing properties are due out later this year.
