The YORcivil deal follows a similar £129m framework launched across the north and east of the region last year.
Both packages are extensions of the YORbuild deal designed to provide £2.6bn of general construction work to the 45 contractors who have won a place on the public sector programme.
Councils led by Barnsley are now looking to appoint up to 60 contractors to carry-out civil engineering projects for at least the next four years.
The works involved principally comprise civil engineering works, bridges/structure works, highways surfacing works, traffic management works, road marking works, barrier repair works and street lighting.
Works will be divided into ten lots with most work expected in the general civil engineering and highways surfacing categories.
