The five-year repairs contract is expected to be worth up to £58m.
Tamworth’s main responsive and repairs contractor will be responsible for the call handling for all repairs, including gas and other specialist works, and will direct these to relevant subcontractors.
Typically these specialist packages will include gas-related repairs, lift maintenance, TV Aerial systems, door entry systems all of which will be tendered separately and subject to separate contractual arrangements.
Homes allocated to the framework include 232 bungalows, 348 flats in six tower blocks, 3103 houses and 854 low-rise flats. The scope also includes 1946 garages.
