The Essex firm fought off stiff competition to win a £1.5m job to install kitchens and bathrooms for Genesis / Paddington Churches Housing Association which starts later this month.
Managing Director Dean Floyd said: “There was a lot of competition for this contract which involved a rigorous PQQ and tender application process, as well as a presentation attended by our management team.
“The Presentation panel were clearly impressed by our proposal, which was supported by references to past and present examples of successful contract delivery.”
Chigwell has also won a £500,000 recontract for responsive repairs and maintenance for the Downs Estate Management Organisation in Hackney, East London.
Work includes a 24 hour emergency service for residents from a multi-trade team including Gas Safe & NICEIC operatives.
Floyd said: “We are sure this will be a long standing relationship which the residents of the Downs Estate Hackney will derive a noticeable benefit from.”
