The Nine Elms Parkside development has been designed for landowner Royal Mail Group by architect Allies & Morrison.
It is located in the heart of the Vauxhall Nine Elms and Battersea Opportunity Area, which is one of the largest regeneration zones in London and promises a huge work boom in a few years.
The site lies to the east of Ballymore’s Embassy Gardens development, which last month achieved planning consent for a further 2,000 homes.
Buildings ranging in height from five to 23 storeys will be set around new public squares, courtyards, gardens and a 3.3-acre public park which will snake through the large site.
Roger Hollingworth is the project manager for M3 Consulting on the job.
