Energy giant Centrica has awarded the firm a five-year contract worth £50m to provide FM services and energy efficiency services for 92 properties with a total area of some 8.6m sq ft.
The huge FM contract will extend Carillion’s working relationship with Centrica to 12 years.
The conntractor also confirmed it had been selected for one of the first major Gatwick contracts to reconfigure Pier 5 as tipped by the Enquirer last month.
The £45m contract involves delivering an improved pier service to meet future growth in passenger numbers at Gatwick’s North terminal.
Carillion Chief Executive, Richard Howson, said: “Winning these contracts reflects our focus on delivering excellent customer service and value for money.
“This is the foundation for our continuing success in winning contracts across our chosen market sectors and we look forward to working in partnership with Centrica and Gatwick Airport to deliver these contracts”.
