GLH is the leading provider of supported housing for people with learning disabilities and was established by Mencap.
Seddon will provide day-to-day responsive maintenance services, void property works, out-of-hours repairs and planned maintenance for a range of properties including supported residential properties, residential care homes, and respite homes.
The contract starts this month and includes the option of a five-year extension.
Seddon will provide maintenance services for five of GLH’s regions: the North region (including properties in the North West, North Wales and the North East); East Anglia; West region (including properties in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, part of Somerset, Dorset, Avon and Dyfed); Yorkshire and the Midlands; and the South West (Cornwall, Devon and parts of Somerset).

Seddon will provide a number of apprenticeship training opportunities through the contract and is also committed to supporting resident and community engagement initiatives.
