A group of north east housing associations have named 30 firms to deliver a massive programme of internal housing repairs and maintenance work.

An estimated £240m will be spent through the North East Procurement framework over the next four years covering kitchens, bathrooms, heating and boiler systems, electrical works, windows and doors and full house refurbishment and upgrades.

The line up of firms on the framework covers a spread of national and local firms in the region with Bullock, Kier, Wates and Seddon among the national players set for a big slice of the spending from the 13 housing associations involved.
