Graham Construction, Sir Robert McAlpine and Clancy Docwra have secured places on a £30m framework deal to refurbish and fit-out Glasgow’s subway stations.

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport has confirmed the winners in documents seen by the Enquirer.

The trio won out from a group of 15 major industry names who submitted PQQs after details of the £30m station refurbishment contract were launched in the OJEU last summer.

The first two contracts have now been awarded under the framework with Graham set to start a £1.7m revamp of Ibrox station and McAlpine a £1.7m overhal of Kelvinhall station.

Work at both station will last until the end of this year and the framework deal for all 15 stations will be in place until 2018/19.
