The deal to provide mechanical services for the first-phase of 267 apartments is the firm’s third job win from Barratt London within 12 months.
Wright is also working on 375 luxury apartments and penthouses near Arsenal’s Emirates stadium, scheduled for completion in June 2015, as well as 283 homes at Canada Water that will be completed shortly.
The 8.5-acre Fulham Wharf site is being redeveloped by Barratt London and London & Quadrant after it was acquired from Sainsbury plc last year.
It will eventually house 463 riverside apartments as well as restaurants, bars and a gym.
J S Wright will be installing all the pipework linking an energy centre with heating interface units in each apartment to provide a low energy alternative to individual boilers for hot water and heating.
The Birmingham contractor will also be fitting under-floor heating, extract ventilation, boosted cold water and sanitation services, as well as sprinklers and dry risers, for the three to 15-storey buildings.
Marcus Aniol, managing director of J S Wright, said: “We are delighted to be able to make such a major contribution to the regeneration of London with our third contract with Barratt London in just 12 months.”
