The £13.6m scheme involves the construction of 140 one and two-bed apartments, office space and residents’ gym in a 11-storey block on an old car park site on Trafford Road.
The X1 The Exchange in Trafford Road will be built as a concrete structure with metal cladding, Trespa boarding and render and will include a basement car park.
Work has just started on site with the scheme due for completion in April 2016.
The builders has also won a £10.4m contract to build new apartments in Bradford.
The seven self-contained apartments and 30 dementia flats are to be located at Fernbank Drive. The firm will also develop a day centre for community use.
The construction of the building will consist of a number of concrete retaining walls structures to accommodate the sloping site levels, the external envelope of the building is predominately pitched faced cast stone and render with aluminium and composite window and curtain walling.
A spokesman said the project was a real landmark project for Bardsley in Yorkshire.
A scheme that was competitively tendered under a traditional single stage procurement process in tough competition within the market place amongst a number of national contractors.
