It will create 147 home ranging from two to four-bedroom with nearly all for open market sale – on just under 5.6 hectares of land in a prime location at Doncaster Lakeside.
Lovell regional managing director Robert Adams said preparatory work was getting underway before beginning construction work on the new homes in summer 2018.
The first homes for sale are expected to be ready in 2019 with the overall development set to be completed in 2022.
The Doncaster Lakeside scheme is the latest in a string of major land-led developments finalised by Lovell’s Eastern regional business since August.
They include The Coppice – a £12m development of 47 homes at Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Derbyshire Peak District – and The Spires, a £13m, 73-home scheme at Branston, near Lincoln.
Lovell Eastern’s regional forward order book now exceeds £100m thanks to its success in securing major land-led new homes developments as well as new homes schemes in partnership with housing associations and local authorities.
