The firm’s Leeds office will build a four-storey secondary school, a two-storey primary school within a single building for 1,200 pupils aged two to 16.
BAM is to complete the main build in under a year, employing clever design to minimise time needed on site.
The scheme is targeting a rating of Very Good through sustainability initiative BREEAM.
BAM construction director Kelvin Pollard said the firm would use local suppliers where possible.
The contractor recently built Shirecliffe and Fir Vale primary schools for Sheffield City Council.
