The DX380LC is designed and built to increased productivity with improved fuel economy, improved visibility and comfort for the operator, improved reliability and durability as well as increased uptime by reducing maintenance time and cost.
The long carriage design, based on the 42t model, offers exceptional stability and safety during heavy material-shifting and lifting applications.
Like all heavy Doosan excavators, the DX380LC has as standard the ‘auto idle’ feature which reduces fuel consumption and noise and creates a more comfortable environment.
Another important feature for reduced fuel consumption is the optional new “economy mode” whereby priority is given to minimal fuel consumption.
The e-EPOS electronic control system provides optimum power at reduced fuel consumption in all working operations. Emission levels are well below the values required for Phase III.
The arm and bucket cylinders are sized to help deliver the highest excavating force of any excavator in its class. Digging force over the bucket is 21.7 tonne, while that over the arm is 17.3 tonne.
6-cylinder “common rail” Doosan DL08 turbocharged diesel engine providing 202 kW (275 HP) at a maximum governed speed of 1900 RPM.
The machine comes with three different arms. Equipped with the longest 3.95m arm, it can get down to digging depths of 8.2m. while the the dump height is 7.75m and the maximum digging reach is 11.93m.
Two travel speeds ranges with a maximum speed in of 2.9 km/h or 4.8 km/h.
Drawbar pull is 31.5 tonnes.
Noise level at operator ear is 73 dB(A)
