Director Robert Lynch said: “Customers benefit from a very young fleet through improved reliability and better corporate image.
“At the moment the average age of our 1,800 mixed fleet items is about 18 months old, but we hope to reduce this even further with more new purchases.”
Latest additions to the fleet include Thwaites Alldrive three and six tonne dumpers which have proved to be the most popular rental sizes.
Lynch has about 250 dumpers in total – the majority being Thwaites machines – ranging from one to nine tonnes.
Its largest machines – the 9 tonners – were purchased early last year extending its range capacity.
Lynch is well known for its excavator and dumper hire and trys to put the machines out as a combination – dumpers up to 9 tonnes with excavators up to 14 tonnes.
Lynch also has a fleet of articulated dump trucks up to 30 tonnes, as well as telehandlers, compaction and associated equipment for a wide range of projects from civil engineering and demolition to landscaping and rail work.
Robert Lynch said: “We are trying to meet the hire demands for every customer. Having high quality manufacturers like Thwaites working with us makes it possible.
“Our customers benefit from excellent reliability, which aids their progress on site.”
