The hirer is expected to reveal a tie-up with a new strategic compaction partner within the next few weeks.
Leach Lewis described the decision to severe its ties with Bomag as “not an easy one to make” after 32 years as its largest light compaction distributor in the South of England.
It said: “Over the last few years the changing market conditions within the compaction industry, and differing strategies of the two companies have necessitated the amicable separation.”
Leach Lewis will fully support the thousands of Bomag customers who have bought vibrating plates, reversible plates, rammers, trench compactors, single drum rollers and tandem rollers over the last three decades.
Both firms will be contacting their existing customers to explain the future arrangements for the product and technical support requirements going forward.
