The winning supplier will provide a wide range of kit including cranes, earth moving plant, low loaders, pumps, generator, site accommodation, mobile fencing, tractors and trailers.
An OJEU notice said: “The Environment Agency is ideally seeking one supplier who can provide the full range of equipment and services.
“We would be interested in exploring the option of one principal supplier supplementing their offering with a well managed cross hire service.
“Interested parties are therefore encouraged to enter into dialogue with other providers in the industry to determine whether opportunities exist for collaboration.”
The initial deal will last three years with the option of extending by a year.
