The national hirer has taken in excess of 20,000 orders since launching the the market’s first guaranteed next day one year ago and has been investing in extra fleet to cope with demand.
The firm is also now raising it head count with vacancies for drivers, engineers, hire controllers, sales and back office support staff in Manchester – where Hewden’s headquarters are based.
Sarah Gomersall Interim Head of HR and L&D from Hewden said: “This is an exciting time for Hewden. The new vacancies provide a wonderful opportunity to come and work for us. We are busy and we believe confidence is returning to the market.
“We are extending our core fleet guarantee and adding to our product range, so the time is right to expand and invest in new recruits as well. Good service is part of the Hewden package and we need more staff to help us deliver.”
Hewden has not only created new jobs, but it continues to invest in its kit as well and has recently undertaken a massive £51m investment programme with global brands such as Caterpillar dealer Finning, Thwaites and JCB.
