Wates Group have an opportunity for a Regional Commercial Director to join Smartspace, our fit out and refurbishment business.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Regional Commercial Director will provide commercial leadership for the projects with our key clients, in the Public & Banking Sector and includes strategy, main and subcontract tender procurement, risk management, pre and post contract, margin improvement and people development.
As our Regional Commercial Director, you will:
- Facilitate regular two-way discussions with commercial, operational teams and or development teams and update all on current strategic issues.
- Regularly meet clients, consultants and or external influences to enable understanding of medium / long term trends, dynamics and opportunities.
- Ensure that all projects have clear tender and delivery strategies published in a project business plan.
- Ensure all bids have a commercial strategy, including demonstration of relevant added value, and where appropriate co-ordinated with the Development Strategy.
- Identify significant opportunities for change to add value across the business and effectively manage the change process.
